V-Top

The purpose of the V-Top system is to provide personal protection against blunt impacts (nonballistic),sustained during Crowd Management or when physically engaging opponents. Users include police forces, correctional services and special tactical squads. The blunt impact protective ensemble comprises five modular items that take into consideration the specifically needed level of protection against low velocity impact, for respective body areas. As a modular system, each protective component respects the morphology and the inter-relationship of muscles while in movement, thereby obtaining an optimal balance between protection and flexibility. The V-Top coverall is worn as an outer layer to conceal the location and the level of protection of the impact protective system. It thereby provides strategic advantages to the security force as described in detail below. Depending on the choice of shell fabric, the coveralls can provide flame resistance (optional).
