Yates 569-6300 HD HELO Personal Retention Lanyard with Shock Stop
For use as a personal retention lanyard in a helicopter. Heavy-duty the snap shackle has a large diameter plunger which allows for much easier release while under full 300 lb load. Designed using the first all-black, nonreflective, oxide plated quick-release shackle made of stainless steel by Ronstan. Oversize quick release shackle allows the user to easily release from harness or belt in the event of an unplanned landing. Swedged release pin (SOCOM requirement) eliminates plunger pin from releasing in the event the retaining ring is broken. Retaining the split ring is safety TIG welded. Quick-release shackle uses velcro to secure the release tab in place to lessen the chance of inadvertent release.
